Historic City of Winchester
I had the pleasure of photographing Jon and Nicola at their post wedding vows at Winchester Guildhall, they were married a couple of weeks earlier at a registry office and decided to have post renew vows /wedding reception in Winchester for all their friends and family.
A busy day for onlookers
It was lovely weather cool but bright and sunny day were the people gathered in the local park. Winchester was very busy that day and the hustle and bustle added to the drama of a wedding taking place right in the centre of it. On a previous venue visit I had found part of the walls of Winchester which provided me with a gorgeous background for the Bride and Groom to have their more personalised photographs. The flint walls created the right balance and a bespoke look that tied in with the Brides 3/4 length Bridal dress and pink bouquet. The groom was sharply dressed but with a wild side to his attire not forgetting his blue suit shoes and stag suit pin. The couple were fun to photograph and we had a very pleasant day.
The Regal Hall
The Hall provided a great backdrop to Jon and Nicola’s wedding day, The celebrant Jennie Knight has attended and created many bespoke wedding ceremonies all over the country, she is vibrant and very professional. The Manager and her team for the Guildhall were very professional and helpful.
Handmade pompoms for confetti
Nicola decided on a Nude cake, top for cake trends 2019. The Bride replaced confetti with her own hand made pompoms, she also made handmade decorations for the tables which looked very elegant, a very nice and personal touch for the day.
The wedding was Traditional, Fun, Classic and new age all in one with a very personal touch and a personal feel to it. The guests clearly felt this vibe and everyone had an outstanding time.
